Avnet’s IoT Partner Program is useful for companies/partners who have clients from various domains and require a holistic environment to deploy, run and manage IoT projects.
This article explains briefly each step along with the requirements so that you can gain access to our Partner Program and start with your IoT journey.
Some essentials before getting onto the onboarding process:

Following your registration in Partner Program, the next step is onboarding. You need to enter some basic details about your business and goal through this partnership. The information collected will be reviewed by our team to offer you the right environment as well as a personalized experience.
The onboarding process is divided in two categories, depending on the partners’ business model:
- Suppliers – The onboarding process for hardware suppliers consists of four steps. If an admin from Partner Program has assigned the partner as supplier, the partner will not require to sign an agreement.
- Non-suppliers – The onboarding process for non-suppliers consists of five steps. The partner will have to sign an agreement and only them their application will be reviewed further.
This is where we ask for more information to create your business profile. It includes selecting your primary business model, business type, industry or vertical focus as well as the region you are focusing on. You will also need to mention your company’s annual revenue along with a distribution of how much revenue comes from hardware, software or consulting sales, whichever apply to you.
Next up, you will need to select the IoT Partner Program that you are interested in – Hardware or Software. This includes providing answers to questions related to each type of partnership and will help us to determine your membership qualifications. The questions will appear according to the partnership type that you select – hardware/software/both.
The compliance section asks for your company’s year of establishment, business registration id, taxation id and any other documents you want to provide. You can attach PDF or word documents by clicking on the browse button next to the particular fields. If you need to add any other documents, click on the Add button. Once you fill in these details, you will need to check the declaration checkbox to move to the next step.
Sign Agreement For Non-Suppliers
Till now, if you are a non-supplier, you must have received an email with the agreement details. Once you read and review the agreement, click the submit button in the portal. Please note that at any point during the onboarding process, you can go back to any of the previous screens to review the information you have entered. Once you apply, you will see the review screen.
This screen will display a thank you message with an under review image.
Our team will evaluate the information that you provided in the earlier steps. You will be notified through email once the review is complete.
